Wow! I can't believe that GTD Tracks is shutting its doors. I hope they get a bigger server ;)

I guess you could try one of the other hosted tracks installations, or figure out how to install it. Eeek.

Since I'm looking for the perfect web-based gtd application, I immediately checked out gtd Tracks.... And was disappointed:
"To preserve the experience of our existing users, GTDTracks.com is no longer accepting new users. Thank you for your interest!"

@Todd & @Wannabe: Your analysis is correct. There is no support for a project being the parent or child of another project. I'm skeptical that hierarchies of projects is a good idea. The new support for tagging should allow you to achieve your goals without that support. If it's not good enough, let us know why.

Cheers from NYC,
Luke

@Todd: As far as I can tell, Tracks uses a basic database concept; think of it like a big table of information. Each row represents a next action. Each column represents a dimension of that next action, so, a dimension for project, one for context, one for tags, etc. There's no relationship between projects, thus, no way for a project to be the child of another.

I have been using GTD Tracks also. Am I missing it, or is there no way to have a sub-Project under a Project?
